    You sort of answered your own question. The only thing I can think of to say is that Sculpture is work in three dimensions. So is landscape gardening, but of course you have to keep re-working it, because things grow and change naturally. A garden has to be designed in two dimensions on paper, and has to be made in three, like sculpture.

    “Good” landscaping considers the same elements as “good” art. Things like balance (symmetrical/asymmetrical), color, line, rhythm/pattern, harmony/variety of elements, etc.

    It’s like art with found objects on a very large scale.
